Seasonal Falcon Closure Details

Description

Start on the face about 20 feet left of the arete. An excellent juggy face leads to a ledge rest below a shallow overhanging right facing corner. Bomber gear and fingerlocks take you up to a two bolt anchor (there used to be a rappel tree but it is now dead)

Location

On the vertical 100 foot tall buttress right before the main southeast face comes into view while hiking the approach trail. It is about 600 feet before where the trail ducks under a roof about 5 feet off the ground.

Protection

Standard rack and tricams up to blue for some placements in pockets.

Super classic finger locks and some amazing tri-cam placements down low. Pink to navy tri-cam work very well. Sep 5, 2011
