FA: N/A
Minnesota > Blue Mounds SP… > Bouldering @ Bl… > Bur Oak Trail > Boulder Area 3

Description

The start is on the south facing wall. It's a huge pinch with your right hand and a decent crimp for your left hand. You then make a huge move to a jug like feature with you right hand. From there move your left hand to the undercling and top out. Crux is the start.

Location

Head south from the trail about 70 yards and you'll see the big boulder.

[Hide Comment] Do you by any chance know if either of these to problems were already established routes or are these new problems that just got sent? Aug 22, 2010

[Hide Comment] Patch, I have no idea. I don't know where these boulders are in relation to the roped climbing at BM. I don't even know where the Bur Oak Trail is located. Guess I'll have to do some exploring next time I get up there. Aug 22, 2010

[Hide Comment] This boulder has been climbed for some time. I have not seen anyone do this particular variation but did it today and it was quite fun. Not sure what about the route makes it pg-13, but the initial move is quite fun and sure is hard! Oct 11, 2010
