Description

Start up a thin crack right of Round Table and head for an obvious curving thin crack in a block. Once atop the block head left and climb the left edge of the upper headwall to anchors on a ledge.

Most of this route is fairly good but the upper section is contrived as you end up climbing only a foot away from the obvious crack of Round Table to keep it at grade.

Location

Just right of Round Table.

Protection

Gear to 3.5 inches

Led this climb - used the handcrack of Round Table to put in some gear, didn't need tons anyway for a relatively short yet fun climb. Feb 7, 2014

Fun climb that shares the anchor with Round Table. I used the same anchor as round table and top roped this climb, as recommended.

The upper portion, as described, is somewhat contrived. Since it is a top rope climb, I felt free to make the upper portion as difficult as necessary to make the climb fun. Depending on your line, the upper portion could go at .10a/b with a lot of crimpy holds and edgy feet. If you stay left near the crack, I would say this climb does go at .9. Aug 8, 2011
