California > San Diego County > S San Diego County > Santee Boulders > Dog Pile Area > 20 Point Boulder

Description

Layback/heel/toe-hook the obvious ramp. When at the end of the ramp proper, reach high, straight up into a diagonal flake and continue laybacking/mantling over the top. Continuing left and up, from the end of the ramp, is also an option. The topout can be sketchy, be careful!

[Hide Comment] Super fun, do this if your at its worth the walk! The holds are all really good until the top out, just take your time and don't freak out and you'll be good. You could probably fall from the top-out onto a few pads safely but it is a little scary! Mar 24, 2021
[Hide Comment] Wicked problem. Sorta feels like gym climbing. Except for the topout. Don't miss this if you go to Santee. Apr 11, 2021
[Hide Comment] Went recently and there was no longer a bee hive to the right of this route. Sep 11, 2023

[Hide Comment] Do it from the low start! Even though that jug is gonna break soon. Oct 23, 2023
[Hide Comment] Best gym style climb in the area. If it's humid you may have to walrus the top out. Feb 19, 2024
