Description
The 11- start to Stingray branches right to a right angling crack then up a cool face. Originally I set this up as a climb that took two or three pieces of gear to protect it. Today 8/19/2018 I added two bolts where the gear could be placed. Seemed silly in hindsight not to have bolted it. As you can see from the comments it can be lead on gear or bolts. With the direct start you no longer need to do the original start. Not sure why we didn't set it up this way to begin with.
Location
Same start as Stingray. At fourth bolt clip the right hand of two then make an awkward move right into the crack system.

[Hide Photo] Derek on his Onsight...got it clean even with a blown foot-hold.
[Hide Photo] Make sure to "Gear" up! I left the ground with just draws and had my number two and a few nuts thrown to me...

As for the rating, .11-/10+ seems generous. Either way, a fun little climb and an obvious line.
(the Pg-13 rating comes from the bottom section, which doesn't really protect with passive gear. Perhaps some cams could mitigate the ankle buster.) Jun 13, 2015
