Description

Climb a small battered tree to a good pocket, or skip the tree, climbing small holds to the same pocket (this makes the climb harder...12b/c) follow 5 bolts to a Y. take the right branch to the top.

This is a great, pocketed endurance climb, sporting a remarkable, hollow one finger pocket.

There is no longer a tree. This is not a 12a anymore. Dec 9, 2014

I never really understood the A0 start to these routes. It bumps it up one grade if you do it from the ground. Maybe if it was 12a, with ground start at 13... Hard boulder problem off the ground to really good rest, then pump. Apr 10, 2015

The logic is this: those starting bouldery moves qualify as V5 and V5 = 12c. If there is even one V5 move on a route to a lay down rest to a slabby handcrack...its still a 12c, albeit an easy tick. Apr 10, 2015
