Sit or standing start on good holds on the northwest arete. Move up staying outside of the roof. Excellent holds and fun moves!

The NW arete of the Hallway Boulder, right next to the road.

Crash pad/none

Anyone know when the big flake popped off? Was back at PC after not having been there for 15+ years the other day and remembered it.

It was loose then (1992? 91?) and I always wondered who the poor soul that would end grabbing gravity with that guy... Nov 30, 2011

I'm not sure which loose flake you remember. There are lots... Nov 30, 2011
You can see where it was on street corner... it was a big piece of rock and now it is the sort of main feature in that zone on the streetside of the hallway. The rock is discolored where it was. it was about 18-24" wide and maybe a foot tall.

Great job with the updates to these sections BTW. Dec 1, 2011
