Begin in a low-angle corner then transition onto the overhanging knife-edge, encountering committing and powerful moves before gaining a series of ledges. Proceed up the technical buttress to eventually reach the anchors.

Get's shade until about 2:00pm.

NW (downhill) face of Trundle

To access this route from below the Patio boulder, scramble down ramps to the north then cut back left toward the cracked face of the tower. The start is on the left (NW) side of the downhill face.

11 bolts + ring anchors

At one point lower on the route, there are four or five moves involving sidepulls and pinches on the knife-edge arete that are about as cool as rock climbing gets. Definitely worth the two minute scramble/walk to the bottom of the tower. Jul 10, 2010
