Under Rover traverse

Description

The guidebook lists several problems that go straight up through here and top out on fairly bad slopers, but I've always felt the best line was to begin on the starting jugs for Way Under and follow the good holds as they trend up and left to a crimpy top-out above Rover. There are good holds for the top-out a bit back from the lip.

Location

Charlotte's Web area

Protection

Pad on the rock below the top-out

Beta photo for the Under Rover traverse. This problem starts on jugs near the left side of the hole (starting holds for Way Under) and follows the best holds left and tops out on good crimps just left of the corner on Rover.

[Hide Comment] Great warm-up for the area. Good to have a pad or spot for the top out. Jan 18, 2013
