I think you can do whatever you want to get to the first true ladder hold. Murray is pretty tall and has a big ape index so his start holds would likely be out of your reach. I did the problem 25 years ago so I don't remember how I started. I should go back, I really like that boulder. May 26, 2010

maybe you can help. does the problem start on the good left hand sidepull and the right hand pinch, or does it start on the two high good holds? I didn't start on either seeing as i'm short and couldn't reach. I started on a small left hand sidepull crimp and a tiny right crimp. it was the most direct line i could find besides if i did a jump start. May 26, 2010
