[Hide Comment] On the "zorro boulder" on the west side of curry village. From wood cabin #76 go west to a rectangular building. The boulder is right behind this building. Number of other climbs on the boulder all facing the village. Start on the left end of the sloping rail. Go right to the flake/shelf then make a big move straight up. Jan 31, 2012

[Hide Comment] Nds’s directions are no longer helpful due to a rockslide destroying the wood cabins some years ago. To get there, go to the far west side of curry village to the 2 story wood cabins that employees live in. Directly south of employee cabins are zorro and angler boulders. Jul 17, 2020

[Hide Comment] Did all the individual moves, but gotta link them up together. Here’s me working from the 3rd move to the finish (including the throw) — instagram.com/p/CU3CcM7JN5g/ Oct 10, 2021

[Hide Comment] I'm 5'7" 1/2 and my feet cut on the throw. This problem must be really tough if you're short. youtube.com/watch?v=7tbuIJ9… Nov 7, 2021
[Hide Comment] Went to climb Zorro and noticed that the jug block for the dyno move is loose. Has it always been this way? Oct 11, 2024

[Hide Comment] The block with the side pull to the right of the rail was just knocked loose and is now a hazard thanks to someone who decided he was going to try aiding the problem. Oct 11, 2024

[Hide Comment] Wow. Tragic to hear that hold broke. I was there maybe 2 months ago and that thing was completely bomber. The person who put gear in it really must've broken that beautiful hold all by himself. Not sure what can be done but that feels like a crime tbh. Oct 17, 2024

[Hide Comment] heard climbing rangers 'pried' it off. Does anyone know if this is true? If so did they use a pry-bar?
Things change and that's part of life and part of climbing. Im just curious as to how the block came off. I doubt climbing rangers would advocate for epoxy.

EDIT: someone told me that the rangers did not do this. sorry for the confusion, thanks for reaching out and correcting me. Things change, people change, routes change, Im sure if it was made loose by an aid climber it could have been made loose by some of those hunky powerhouse bay area boulderers who roll through year round eh? [Hide Comment] Does this still go? Any consensus on the new grade? I'm guessing the throw to the top is much harder without the jug created by the broken hold. Jan 24, 2025
