Access Issue: Yosemite National Park climbing closures and conditions Details

Description

Sustained and a bit loose in spots. Get your micro-crimp on in this ultra thin slab route. Many cruxes, but one distinct hard spot in the middle, leading up the the first roof. Use caution when when trusting the flakes, one blew up in my hand and sent me flying and several flexed under pressure.

Some hard moves well above bolts.

Location

To the right of the alcove on an obvious bolted slab, directly under two small roofs.

Protection

Bolts, 12? Anchor is just two bolts, we left carabiners, but don't be surprised if they're not there.

This route, and all the routes on Endless Summer Wall and Dan and Jerry's Playground, experienced a ton of rockfall in 2017. Best to avoid these routes for a while!
