Seasonal Raptor Closures. Details

Description

Crux is an undercling/finger crack over a bulge at the top to the chains. The start is a fun offwidth.

Location

Just to the right of Stone Tools.

Protection

5 bolts to chains, but this route was originally a trad route and would take small pro.

If climbing at your limit, you will probably want to supplement the bolts. The holds are big, but a fall between 2 and 3 and between 3 and 4 could be quite bad. The good news is there are many options for good gear. Jun 23, 2017

An interesting route, definitely has some technical moves and some might feel its runout between the 2nd and 3rd bolt. Overall a lot of fun though. May 12, 2013
Takes thin pro: small nuts to a .5 BD equivalent. Oct 6, 2012
