Sweet route. Not really a cruxy section, just sustained.

From the platform move theft of the arete and into the back of the couloir. This is actually a little "airy" as the couloir drops out from under you and the start is already 30' off the ground. The first bolt is visible directly in front of you. This route follows the left edge of the couloir but as the couloir moves up and right the route pretty much ascends straight up the wall.

I think we counted 9 or 10 bolts on this route. This is a great easy route. Do you want some exposure in Maple? Do this and you won't be disappointed. My wife and I felt like it was about a 5.7, but it was really fun, and sustained for a 5.7. Jul 2, 2011

There's some confusion here. This route is actually the middle one, and not the left-most route as people are assuming. This route is the much better one of the two, in my opinion. Ten bolts to chains. Extending the belay bolt and the second bolt will make the drag much easier. Sep 5, 2017
My girlfriend and I climbed Two Times Arete and could only see a single chain with a rap ring for the anchor at the top of Caress the Cobble, not sure about the situation for the anchor of Caress the Cullis though. May 13, 2018
