Description

Limestone Pirate: 11a NOTE - shares bottom anchors with Spiral Staircase. Photo #6 is a view up the route from the bottom anchors. The route is on very user friendly stone peppered with pockets of all sizes, edges, side pulls and a couple of throws. Continuously overhanging to a slight degree, it is sustained at the grade. Another memorable climb!

Location

Edd's Place

Protection

All titanium Tortuga bolts. Two at top anchor, 12 bolts on the route and two at the bottom anchor. As you approach the bottom anchor on rappel, clip your lead rope to the first bolt to preclude a factor-two fall onto the belay!
