Description

This is a classic in every way. Powerful in your face initial boulder problem, followed immediately by fun, pumpy, and thoughtful climbing up a right-facing flake. Milk the rests as this baby doesn't let up until you are standing on the ledge next to the chains. Awesome!

Location

This line is the first bolted line to the right of the crack, Moose Knuckles.

Protection

10 bolts to sport chains. This one is long, must have at least 60m of rope!

Great climb. Basically a good boulder problem to a jug, clip a bolt, and repeat. Since the route overhangs, a complete rest at the jugs is not possible. Furthermore, fun climbing without a single bad section until the anchor.

Edit: Found a no hands "rest" about half way up. Allows one to de-pump, but may take too much core strength to call it a rest. Jun 19, 2010

This route is extremely rad! Cool boulder problem start to pumpy slightly overhanging climbing for 85 feet. It's really good.... Jun 15, 2014

Stiff for Front Range 5.12a but def not 5.12b. A very good climb with a couple tough moves and a nice mix of face/crack technique. May 13, 2017

Great moves, several of which are made easier if you know know how to crack climb / jam. May 30, 2018
