Start on an obvious rail near the entrance of the cave and traverse left through a series of overhanging crimps and side pulls. Climb up and traverse far left until you can safely exit the rail inside the cave.

In the large cave uphill and behind the stone hut. This is the boulder facing the wall with "Green Mountain Gringo / The Green Egg".

Make sure to bring lots of pads especially for the exit moves (a little sketchy)

If this is the problem i think it is - it is a variation on 'darkness all day'. Darkness starts on the first good hold just to the left of the obvious arete and stays at about head level until you can traverse all the way around to an obvious high ledge. From there you can grovel up through pigeon shit and dirt to the top of the plateau (on the same level as rhode island ripper).

Greening stays below this line and goes hard left until you can do a cool move to head up and join the same traverse line as darkness. As far as I know, I did the FA on both. Greening was being worked by Benny and Kyle - who were taking a bud break and offered to let me have a go at it :-) Jun 15, 2015

Chris did you get the FA on this? I thought it was Bill for some reason. Still haven't finished it - worked on it a bit back in 2007 Jul 20, 2012

When Bennie and Ethan, and I put this problem up back in 2003, it ended--as you both mentioned--on the jugs way out left, at a small ledge. Dropping off from the jugs is also acceptable for this problem, as the top out is somewhat contrived, from what I recall. Jul 27, 2010

I think you are right, they just finish on jugs way up and back in the cave but I think you have to traverse to a point where you can get down safely otherwise it's a bit of a sketchy fall. My memory is a bit foggy on it right now... Apr 17, 2010

Hey Colin, does this (and Greening All Day) top out? I thought they finished on jugs inside the cave. Apr 17, 2010
