Description

Delicate face climbing leads to an undercling move over a bulge. Some more moves lead to the crux which is a big lock-off using a small crimp to a sloping lip that must be mantled for the RP. Crux can be a heart-breaker. Probably the best pound for pound route in the quarry.

Location

Second from the right end of the Cat's Ass wall.

Bolted in April, 2005 by Travis, and gang-ascended in rapid succession by Travis Peckham, Paul Hansen, Derek Doucet, Nick Yardley, Garret Bywaters, Alden Pellett, and Dave Furman. It felt mighty good to be back on warm, sunny rock after a long winter. The crux was really hard until we figured out we were all doing it wrong... Feb 1, 2011
