[Hide Comment] Fun route... easy until the sting in the tail end. You'll want a small nut or a purple C3 for the finishing moves. Aug 11, 2012

[Hide Comment] Can definitely be protected safely at the top. I was surprised I kept getting opportunities to place higher gear. I placed a bomber yellow Metolius, but then a few feet higher squeaked in a grey 00 Metolius - the yellow will keep you off the ledge though. The topout moves are easier than they look. Sep 8, 2014

[Hide Comment] A lot of leaders new to the grade won't have micro cams and possibly not even micro nuts. You can get multiple finger size pieces in (bd .3/.4 range) from the slight ledge before going into the crux. They will be below your feet when you make the crux moves though. Jul 23, 2018

[Hide Comment] I fell at the top the slab finish in 2010ish. I was maybe two moves from the top. I remember cutting loose and just running back down hill. Pretty sure I was arrested near the ground on a bomber 0.4

This has always been a memorable moment in my climbing. Nov 23, 2021

[Hide Comment] Red BD Z4 gives the highest piece of pro in the top of the crack by the crux. Jul 10, 2022
[Hide Comment] Spectacular hands to fingers, up until the top out slab. No pro for the slab with some spooky friction slabby climbing meant dry heaving upon arrival to the anchor. Nov 28, 2023
