Access Issue: Protect Access in Owens River Gorge! Details

Description

A fine arete climb with a funky and spooky start. This route climbs the arete right of the routes Paradise 5.9 and Monsters of Rock 5.11.

Easy scrambling up to the first bolt about 20' up, the crux comes immediately and once past the second bolt the climbing eases a bit and is just fine.

Protection

6 bolts to a rap anchor, lower off with a single 60 meter rope.

fun route, nice position at the crux. i wish that first bolt was a few inches lower and slightly farther to the left, it would be easier to clip and not as close to the edge of the arete. i'd recommend a locking draw on that first clip. it's the only thing between you and the ground a good 25' below and protects the couple crux boulder moves that lead to much easier ground.
