Zircon is the rightmost of the cracks on the high left shoulder of The Pearls.

Start in the gully on the left side of The Pearls. Climb a right leaning flare (somewhat hard to protect) to a unprotected face. Continue up to the base of the crack for solid pro. From there take the obvious crack line to the summit.

The base of the crack proper is quite high and a fall getting to it would be unfortunate.

Thin to wide.

A few committing moves before you get any good gear - 30' off the deck. A marginal #3 RP was enough mental pro to step up into the thin crack, but a hidden #0 tcu exists behind the handhold (can't see until above it). Dec 15, 2014
