RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

The base of the route is the crux. There are few hand and footholds. As you climb the footholds become more available.

The route is just to the right of Fender Bender. The base is a slab, then follow the heavily worn crack. It is a fun route.

Top rope only there are no places to place protection. This route shares the chains with Fender Bender.

There is a loose bolt just above the anchor on this route. Dec 22, 2011

On 11/22/10, the loose bolt was replaced with an ASCA 1/2x3.75. The current placement of the chain should equalize it better for rappelling. There is also an anchor bolt (1/2x2.75SS) at the top of the ledge that can be used to protect youself while getting to most of these anchors. Nov 22, 2010
