Description

The hand crack on Triple Cracks.
Climb up using jams and stemming where necessary. In the end we really just stemmed the chimney and used the crack for pro. If you tried it with ought stemming this would easily be a hard 5.10.

Location

Hand crack in the Triple cracks chimney. Use the tree on top (about 5ft back from the edge) to bring up your second or set up a top rope.

Protection

Camalots from .4-2 and maybe some tricams or nuts. But you don't need much more than that unless you really want to really sew it up.

[Hide Comment] It's very hard not to stem on this crack, however it's excellent in teaching someone how to stem. The quailty is a little questionable like alot in pdc, but your most likely to be in the shade since your in a 3-4ft slot. Wish this thing was twice as tall. May 12, 2011
