Description

Featured climbing on tan rock leads to a steep grey cap. Clip, crank past the crux, and make a few delicate moves up to the anchors.

Location

Find the Mushroom formation at the far left end of the Bank. From On the Mushroom walk right until you find a trail branching up left into an alcove with 5 new routes. Will Purr For Treats follows a fin of rock on the left wall of the alcove (right-most route on the left wall). The route to the left follows large ledges. One route to the right tackles steep pockets. Two routes to the right takes on a technical face with a crux bulge in the middle. The farthest right route shimmies up the chimney formed by the front and right walls.

Protection

5 bolts to chain anchors.

Photos

Definitely an easier 10 but a fun route nontheless.

Our group climbed the route to the left that isn't listed but is mentioned in this route description. We determined that it was in the 5.7/5.8 range, and we've dubbed it Jumping Jack, since you can literally do jumping jacks on each of the ledges. Mar 20, 2017
