Description

This is the fifth route to the right of Rednekk Justus. Start by a huge carving of "TH" with a date below. Start up the handcrack to a ledge. Watch out for loose rocks on the ledge. Jam or lieback up the crack to the anchors.

Location

This lies to the right of Rednekk Justus.

Protection

A couple of BD #2s. A #1 BD might fit up top. I think I used 4 or 5 #2s.

Watch for snakes! We found a rattler lying right at the base of this climb. It ups the difficulty when you're scared to put your hands in the crack. Jun 15, 2013

"Both the bolts were spinner and suspect. If you do this climb, bring a wrench or a cam to back up the anchor, #1 BD I think. It is ok for a quick warmup.
"

One bolt was older and a spinner, the other was a new and just needed tightening. The old bolt has been replaced. Dec 3, 2012

To find this, hike straight up from parking lot to the base, then head west for about 100 yards. The climb is easy to find as it's got TH carved in the wall at the base. The top appears loose from bottom, but when you get up to it, it is seems the death blocks have fallen. Be careful anyways. Chain anchors. Aug 22, 2012

Thanks, Jesse, IIRC there was some thin dog chain up there, or something weird like that. Mar 8, 2011
