Look for this short cliff on the right as you enter the Cathouse canyon.

Same start as Alley Cat, then move right to a bolt and make a delicate traverse (5.8) to the right. Climb straight up past another bolt (5.7) up to a 2 bolt belay/rappel anchor.


Lower Cathouse.


You can get a very small CD (oo metolious) before the first bolt.

The finish is a bit contrived, since you could step right and climb an easy crack to the top, but the move past the bolt is fun. Feb 21, 2010

Traverse past the 1st bolt is fun and engaging for the grade. Unfortunate that it finishes the same as Fat Cat vs. going straight up. The upper crack system would not take very good pro but possible.
