Short face and crack climb in beautiful location. Committing and not recommended for 5.6 climbers.

Small trad gear required: nuts and mid size cams are recommended. Big cam, like #4 Camalot, will make the exit offwidth feel better.

Do yourself a favor and spare the scramble up to find this small crag.

The approach from Middle Sunset is as adventurous as this line.

Hexes and gear from #.5 to #2 are adequate. Once you place the .5 before the off width in the horizontal crack, you won't need anything else because that's the last placement until you get to the slab section.

Heady and committing.

Work your feet up and stay out of the off width.

A 70m for the rappel easily gets you back to Middle Sunset. Apr 13, 2014
