Make varied .9 movies as you ascend the Turtle in a forested setting. Stays cool in the summer and damp in the winter.

This route starts midway up the west face of Turtle Rock. There is a large snag just up hill from the flattened out belay spot.

Paradigm Shift is a great route, but it is more of a 5.8 than a 5.9, in my opinion. Loads of fun though! May 20, 2014

This is the route everyone goes to first on Turtle.
I think it deserves a 4* rating for high rock quality, grade consistency, and diversity of moves.
I do agree with Don that it may be more accurately rated at 5.8, but it is consistently challenging at this rating. Aug 28, 2018
