Description [Edit]

Stem up the dirty corner and get into an undercling. Reach up and grab one of the coolest jugs in the whole area. More jugs lead up until you can step left to the Hate Hate anchor.

Location [Edit]

This is the bolt line to the right of Hate Hate, and left of Moment of Weakness. The guidebook gives it NO stars, but we couldn't resist for some reason....

Protection [Edit]

4 bolts, 2 bolt anchor.

While this is not "the best route ever", it is certainly deserving of a star or two. Fun jugs and not too dirty. Jan 29, 2010

Fun route, tricky feet. It's all about the feet. Reaching like the guy in the photo is not optimal technique. Mar 4, 2010

Huh? I didn't like this one at all. Pretty contrived. Apr 9, 2010

Best route ever? WTF? Stem across the dirt and pigeon shit till you can reach the good flake and horn (which may come off if some burly climber gets on it). Do some awkward moves and then bail off to the climb to the left. Be careful not to clip the last bolt on this climb and then also the last bolt on Hate Hate or you'll wind up with some rope drag. Do yourself a favor and go around the corner and climb Henry Spies instead of this one. Apr 9, 2010

"Stem across dirt and pigeon shit..." Welcome to Table.
Best Route Ever = sarcasm and maybe a better name than unknown? Sorry to lead you astray.... Not one of the better routes here, but I did enjoy it. Dec 30, 2010

I agree with Mark. This route contains some fun moves. However, if you are not a Table Mtn. connoisseur, you may not appreciate it. Dec 30, 2010

Beware, the "step left" as you exit onto Hate Hate may put you stepping squarely on a detached, wobbly, rectangular block. This block is sitting mostly flush on a larger, flat ledge and seems unlikely to come down unless someone deliberately tries to dislodge it (or pulls on it wrong from underneath inside the Hate Hate Chimney), but stepping onto something that wobbles is much scarier than the pigeon shit. Anyone with the know-how and proper attention to safety willing to clean this thing? Apr 23, 2017
