Description

Good WI5. Fun exit.

Location

9th climb down from upper bridge.

Protection

Ice screws.
Followed a friend up this a few years ago. Got totally worked and hung a few times cleaning screws. Always check the guidebook before letting your friend (a solid WI5 leader) talk you (a WI4 top roper) in to a climb at the bottom of the gorge. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever climbed.

On the bright side, I get to point it out to newbie ice climber friends when I go to the ice park and say "Yeah, I climbed that once. It was pretty hard, but nowhere near as bad as the stuff we are going to start you on out in South Park." Jan 29, 2010
