Description
In many ways Nuke the Poodles is a harder version of its neighbor, Nuke the Whales. The crux can be found down low, navigating through an overhanging start. The rock quality at the bottom isn't stellar, and does have some loose holds. They can be avoided with a sequential series of powerful moves. The rock on the rest of the crack improves (although it would never be considered 'desert varnish'), and interesting climbing continues until the top.
Location
Nuke the Poodles is located in the eastern corridor of Nuclear Reactor Rock, about 50' right of Nuke the Whales.
