Description

There's a couple of fun moves off some jugs and crimps in the first 25 feet or so. The climb then continues up and to the right, following a crack-ish system up a slab with some friction moves on grit. Nothing spectacular but kinda maybe worth it if in the area?

Location

Around the corner to the right of Rollerball. A broken vertical face about 25 feet high with an obvious jug 2/3rds the way up.

Protection

Light single rack is plenty. You can walk over to the Rollercoaster rap for decent.

The moves are fun, but the rock is a little flaky and the pro is poor at the bottom as a result. This is a 5.9 for advanced climbers and ill-advised for less experienced leaders. Nov 29, 2010

I don't think this one is bad enough to warrant a bomb. It ain't great, but it's a decent warmup and easy to tick the whole formation.

Also, note that the older Vogel guide incorrectly lists the route as left of rollerball, it is actually to the right. Jan 6, 2010
