Flaring chimney with easy moves. A good easy chimney for the beginner. Start below the chimney with a little stemming and some easy jugs. Wedge your self against the left face and up you go. A nice seat to rest or take pics from about half way up.

The obvious chimney glaring you in the face.

Top-rope recommended from three good bolts.

Yeah it's pretty fun. Dennis Jackson's guide states: "Good for learning to place gear". I mistakenly interpreted this to mean you can lead it. Well you can but you need some big cams. After getting shut down the first time I tried it (how sad) I went back and lead it with a number 6 and number 4 C4 along with a few smaller pieces. I doubt I'll ever lead it again, but I just had to finish it on lead, for peace of mind... Jan 18, 2010

I too interpreted the statement "Good for learning to place gear" as you can lead it. I didn't have the same problem as Robin though. I only needed up to a number 3 C4. While it can take bigger, careful placements don't require it. Mar 24, 2018
