Access Issue: Yosemite National Park climbing closures and conditions Details

Description

A great little warm up for the area. Climb good jams with a stem out left, then the crack widens when it zig-zags. This is the crux.

Location

This is the right of three cracks at he bottom of the Finger Lickin' area. The first to be reached on the approach trail.

Protection

Single set of gear. Extra in the hand sizes and a #4 friend may be useful. Bolted anchor between Snatch Power and Jaw Bone.

Awesome climb. Two different optional starts for first 15 feet. Left for perfect hands, right for thin hands/lieback. Bring three 3s for the top, felt runout with only 2x. Apr 25, 2016

There's a bolted anchor at the top between this and Snatch Power, works to rap from both of them.

Clean and fun, splitter, but very short. Nov 9, 2016

The top of this has a section the most perfect laser cut splitter I've ever seen, including on sandstone. Feb 12, 2018
