Trinity in 1994. Back then the route was graded 5.12c. However, at some point the horn at the crux broke off and the route became 5.13. You can see the reminiscence of the missing horn in this photo. The horn has been missing since at least 2007 if not longer.

[Hide Comment] Climbed trinity in 2000 my friend Dustin and I "Robert" worked on trinity for two or three weeks, finally Dustin got first accent mine a couple of days latter both lead. If anyone would like beta on this climb just ask as I can see by the chalk no one has made it very far. Jan 17, 2015
[Hide Comment] This route has seen only 2 ascents in the past 15 years in current form (a large undercling broke off a few years ago) and it feels closer to 13c. Intense body tension and high delicate footwork through the short crux. Hard to clip 3rd bolt until after crux. Mar 20, 2019
[Hide Comment] I recommend a single locking biner on the second bolt with an attentive belay, as the 3rd bolt is hard to clip until it’s at your waist.. Feb 24, 2021
[Hide Comment] Burly, powerful AND techy.. gorgeous, compact Hawaiian basalt! Careful about crater-potential getting to the 3rd bolt. Feb 24, 2021
