One of the most popular routes at Profile. Climb easy rock up to a stance, below a right facing corner. Protect, and make a balancy move right onto the main face (crux). Continue up for almost a full ropelength to the top of Profile cliff and a 2 bolt anchor with rap rings (2 ropes needed to get down).
The bolt you see at the beginnig of the climb on a steeper face is the direct start variation and goes at 5.9.

Start on the left-most side of the main cliff. Go left of the bolt for the original route, or spice it up and do the direct variation.

Standard rack will do, extras in the small to mid range helpful due to the length of the route. There are a few fixed pins too.

I found the climbing on this to be slightly easier then 5.7 BUT, the gear is some what sparse and the features seem very precarious. A 70M rope will gett you to the ground from the rap anchor. Nov 19, 2009

This route is one less a piton after today. Certainly spicier in that section, but nothing that's out of character given the protection on the rest of the climb. Oct 17, 2012

out of curiousity, due to the length of route and gear. if you have only one rack would be silly to find a spot and turn this into two pitches? Apr 25, 2015
