Description

This is the third route right of the boulder that splits Catus Rose cliff. (There is a new unknown route between this and The Needle Lies). Listed in the Shelf Road book as 2 bolts with a tree anchor, this route has been retrobolted by parties unknown.... Now has 3 bolts plus ring anchors. It has super fun climbing up solid rock. The crux for me was moving up to and past the 3rd bolt.

[Hide Comment] Great route that is on you until you hit the chains. Felt like a harder lead than a lot of the 5.11s I've tried at the Shelf so far! If you're in the Cactus Rose area, I suggest trying it! Mar 16, 2017
