FA: P. Paredes, B. Singer - August 2007
California > San Bernardino… > Big Bear Lake Area > Big Bear North > Big Bear City Area > Holcomb Valley… > Pinnacles North > Closet Crag

Description

Look for a right leaning small roof that has a left facing flake to it's left. Start at the bottom of the roof and head up the flake. This is a fun little route that at first glance looks harder than it is. The anchor is such that rapping is the best way to get off.

Location

Faces east. Look for a fallen tree at the base.

Protection

3 bolts. Anchor on top.

[Hide Comment] Fun moves from the crack and over to the left on large crimps and up to even larger holds. Did this with all gear using the flake on the face as pro (RP's and hydrid Alien). Jul 13, 2010

[Hide Comment] Nice edges on solid rock but the bolting on this route left me baffled - not the best choice if breaking into the grade. Oct 13, 2011

[Hide Comment] Climbs better than it looks with some good knobs and think flake feature. Pretty fun albeit micro in size. The first bolt is oddly placed. Jul 22, 2017
