Description

Tough and slopy. On the north side there is a tree. It used to have a "don't camp here sign." Next to the tree, traverse slopers from right to left across the lip and top out up the slabby arete above Scoop. There is also a low/sit start possible on crimps by the tree.

Location

The north side (away from the road) of the warm up boulder by the tree.

Protection

A pad or two. Watch the roots.

Is the SDS a project or has it been done? I came incredibly close to sending the full sit from the LH crimp rail/RH gaston on Saturday but got seriously rained on as I progressed through the problem and slipped off the sloper before topping outĀ…. Hard not to dab on the tree but not impossibleĀ… felt like V9 for a tall person like me. Send is imminent, I think I'll get back up there either this week or over the weekend. Sep 29, 2014
