Just left of the huge concrete slab that forms the abutment of the pass is a bay or alcove of natural rock. At the left end of this, there is a prominent hand crack leading to a sloping ledge about 20 feet up.

Make a few face moves off the ground to gain the crack, then jam to the ledge.

Downclimb to the left or back down the crack.

Although best as a boulder problem, people have actually roped up and led this as a short 5.8 route over the years.
