An east-facing blocky dihedral starts right off the sloping platform and offers a variety of moves up to a spacious belay ledge atop the "book." The start is one of the more committing sections.

The middle "book" of the three.

Small to 3". If you're new to the grade, you might want a #4, but it's not necessary. Up higher, a 5" crack runs opposite to the smaller crack(s) in the east-facing wall, but it is not required to bring/use pro here. Can build your own anchor at the top or use the rap anchors installed over Cat Scratch Fever.

Worth climbing, but not as good as its neighbors.

A #4 is nice if you build the anchor at the top of the book. Other than that smaller pieces, nuts, and a slung chockstone protect it fine. Oct 24, 2016
