Description

The obvious arete on the left side of the Gold Wall. Very fun slabby face and arete climbing with a couple of small roof pulls. Good technical warmup.

Location

Nice arete on the left side of the gold wall.

Protection

Lots of bolts (13 or 14), 2 bolt rap anchor on top.

The guide book says 12 but this route has 13 bolts. It's a good idea to either put a long sling on the third bolt or back clean it once you clip the fourth bolt. This route is relatively tightly bolted so back cleaning a draw or two is reasonable if you don't have 13 quick draws. Jul 1, 2017
