Van Burren Route

5.11c, Trad, 600 ft (182 m), 5 pitches, Grade III,  Avg: 3 from 3 votes
FA: Chris Dube very late 80's or early 1990's
New Hampshire > WM: Oliverian N… > Owl's Head Clif… > Big Wall

Description

Monotonous isn't it. This one is past Bert's large tree filled right facing corner and is a 80ft. of very steep face climbing on colored rock that I top roped the first pitch. Don't know above where it goes.

Location

A few ft. uphill; from Slab Happy.

Protection

Bolts and a some trad gear. Same old three bolt rappel anchor of the early 1990's.

[Hide Comment] This is actually a five pitch route. Pitch one deserves five stars. I believe Chris Dube did the FA. Oct 24, 2010
