Description

Sit-start under the overhang and climb out the crack to the top. One must use a painful finger-lock en route--best to tape up.

Standing start is V0, perhaps harder for shorter climbers.

Location

Overhanging north-face of the Cracked Boulder, overlooking the stream bed. Scramble down to the stream between the Cracked Boulder and the Slab Boulder.

Protection

Bad landing; although, the top-out is straightforward. Crashpad and talented spotter still advisable.

The Edwards guidebook I believe has Le Fissure King at V0 from a stand and Chisel Bullet Profits as the V3 sit. Dec 30, 2009

"Le Fissure King: V3 **
Sit-Start the crack. A long and painful lock leads to good edges. Stand start is V0."

Per Edwards' guide, Le Fissure King is V0, not V3. "Bullet the Chisel Profits" is V3. Recommended. Dec 19, 2009
