Heart Route

5.9+, Trad, Sport, TR,  Avg: 2.2 from 19 votes
FA: unknown
Washington > Northeast Corne… > Spokane Area > Minnehaha > Main Wall

Description

Although short, it's a fun, crimpy face climb. You could do it with 2 draws and a set of nuts.

Location

The far left bolted route on the Main Wall. It's left of the house-sized boulder.

Protection

2 bolts and a couple pieces of thin gear. Also an easy TR

Two bolts, good pro, walk around to the left to set up TR.

[Hide Comment] Led this today. The bolts are looking pretty old, but there are several places to put gear in and make the climb protectable for the leader. Apr 26, 2013

[Hide Comment] If you don't reach over left but stay on the bolt line and don't go left at the finish on the slab, there are a couple cruxes that are more like hard 5.10, that may be a contrived rating but it's a natural flow line that way. Jul 14, 2017
