Description Suggest change

Westweg is an easy and relatively uninteresting way of summiting Kleftogeorgios-Sudgipfel. Right now I'm having a hard time imagining why you'd want to do that, but it might be worth your while if you only have a single 60 meter rope and you are looking for a route that can be descended, in which case Westerweg fits the bill.

Climb up the ridge on the west side of Kleftogeorgios-Sudgipfel until you reach the top with a bolted anchor and rappel to the northern side of the rock.

Listed as III- under the UIAA system.

Location Suggest change

Westweg climbs the west side of Kleftogeorgios-Sudgipfel. The west side is the narrow side facing away from Kalambaka. Kleftogeorgios-Sudgipfel is the rock further from Bantowafels of the two.

Protection Suggest change

Trad gear to a bolted anchor.
