Description
No box to check for headpoint. Doing Winter Warmer with natural pro, ground up, after using bolts to test pro on earlier investigations. We gave a name to make it easier to communicate a worthy tradventure amongst friends. We named it after the inventor and supplier of Aliens, Dave Wagoner. This route is all about the blue and tiny purple Aliens. (Colorado Custom Hardware rocks!)
Protection
Twenty five pieces were placed for protection. Pro placed for the runout headwall was blind, reachy, and insecure. X rated if a fall is taken off the headwall because the gear under the roof is behind fallible-looking, rounded blocks. Have lots of small Aliens; purple (5), blue (7-8), green (3-4), and one yellow/gray offset Alien for the first piece. A set of Black Diamond's Steel Nuts, Stoppers, smaller C4 Camalots, and tons of long/ medium runners were used, too.
