California > Lake Tahoe > I-80 Corridor > Donner Summit > Grouse Slab > E Face

Description

Thin slab climbing past 3 bolts leads to easier gear protected climbing higher.

Follow the bolts traversing up and left. Fun slab climbing with bolts spaced just far enough to keep you focused.

Location

About 100 yards right of Jellyroll Arch is a small left facing dihedral/gully scramble. Look up and you'll see two routes sharing the same first bolt. This is the climb that goes to the left.

Protection

3 bolts, a few small to medium cams higher up.

Anchor up top using boulders.

[Hide Comment] I like the "bolts spaced just far enough to keep you focused." in the description - quite true!!!

Thin slab - from the top of Assault and Battery you can climb a short 3 bolt un-named route (as far as I know) to link up and climb Anxiety Attack. May 15, 2010

[Hide Comment] AnB? Dude....really. A-n-B got it's name when Jocco there and I were putting it up on the 4th of July one year. Up comes these two clowns about to get in a fist fight down on 'Rocky' below us. Well, me 'n' Gene named it A-n-B after the Genesis Trick of the tail album.
