Start at the far right end of the right-hand side of the crag where the angle changes from slabby to vertical with hands on a large and usually chalked hold. Traverse left along the base of the crag relatively easily until a blank section near the left arete (with an old broken-off piton behind one hold) can be solved statically with a high traverse on crimps or a long sideways dyno to a jug.

At the left (west) end of the highway roadcut duck into the forest and the crag is only about 20m off the road. After finishing the traverse, climb High Arete or drop off.

Soft sand landing.
