Mr. Gibbs starts on a sloping jug on the left side of the overhanging face. Make your way all the way up the arete to the ship's prow and mantle over.

Left side of the Black Pearl.

Hey darth,
I did this line around 2000 - 2001 but I don't think I was the 1st as it had some signs of being climbed at an earlier date. I can ask around to see if I know any one that may have F.A.'ed this line. And as far as I know.... the direct start that you talk about for this line has not yet been completed. I have feeling you may just be the one for the job. Take care..

There is a really hard, dynamic, reachy direct sit start to this on a left sloping undercling and the right pinch/crimp on the overhanging face. Two or three big throws on small/sloping holds to a jug.... If anyone wants to give it a go.... Jun 6, 2009
